The work

What the work
involves.

A mineral finish can change the color of brick, stone, or stucco without making every surface look the same. OOC uses Romabio mineral paints and discusses the finish you want—solid coverage, soft tonal variation, or a limewash effect—before choosing the system.

Name the surface, then choose the paint.

Tell us whether the area is indoors or outside, whether it has been painted or sealed, and how much wear or moisture it sees. The exact mineral product, primer requirements, and preparation are chosen for those conditions. Color and finish samples help settle the final direction.

Before we start

A few things
to know.

Do all mineral paints create a limewash effect?

No. Some are designed for a more even, opaque finish, while decorative mineral washes create variation. We will discuss which appearance fits your space.

Can mineral paint go over an existing coating?

That depends on the existing coating, its condition, and the selected product. Previously painted or sealed surfaces need to be reviewed for compatibility and preparation before work is agreed.
