The work

What the work
involves.

OOC uses Romabio for limewash and mineral finishes. For brick and stone, the first decision is how much of the original surface you want to see. For interior walls, we discuss the movement and color you want, then select a finish suited to that surface.

Let the original surface guide the finish.

Unpainted masonry, sealed stone, and painted drywall need different approaches. Send a close-up, a wider view, and any information about previous coatings. We review the surface and a finish sample before agreeing on the product, preparation, and level of variation.

Romabio
A brand we use

Romabio limewash and mineral paints. The exact product is selected for your surface and the finish you want.

Before we start

A few things
to know.

Is limewash the same as solid exterior paint?

No. A distressed limewash can leave parts of the original brick or stone visible. A full-coverage mineral paint creates a different result. We can review both directions with you.

Can I get a limewash look on interior drywall?

Yes, with a product suitable for that wall. Romabio has decorative mineral finishes for interior drywall; exterior masonry limewash and interior wall systems are selected differently.
